Reading
Students began a new novel this week The Face on the Milk Carton.  Students read and discussed Chapters 1, 2, and 3.  Test on Chapters 1-3 tomorrow; review your notes.  Book Report #1 due Monday October 15.  Students need to read The People Could Fly pgs. 768-771 in their Literature book.  Handout for Book Report #1; will be given tomorrow in class.

Writing
Students completed Simple Solutions Lessons 13 and Lesson 14 tonight for  homework.  Students were given their new essay topic - students need to interview their parents tonight.
